The Children's Museum of Pooler invites children and their families to join us for a community nerf battle fundraiser, in partnership with the West Chatham Y on September 13, 2025 from 1-6pm. There will be an adaptive needs bracket (for children who may need accommodations such as caregiver's help loading blasters, use of mobility devices on the field, or non verbal communication aids during the battle), age brackets for children to compete in with others and a family bracket that will allow families to share in this fun-filled day (teens and smaller children are welcome to play in the Family Battle with an adult.) Participants can battle it out for bragging rights as a nerf champion, refresh with the hydration station and food tables, cool off in the water war zone, take part in the raffle, and browse the tent vendors all while they make new friends and create memories. 

CMOP Museum Members and YMCA Members receive 10% registration!

YMCA Members will need to contact the West Chatham YMCA at (912)748-9622 to verify membership and receive their discount code prior to registering.

FOUR BATTLE GROUPS:

ADAPTIVE NEEDS Battle Groups will play at 1:00pm-1:45pm. 

Battle Group Ages 5-9 will play at 2:00pm-3:00pm. 

Battle Group Ages 10-13 will play at 3:15pm-4:15pm.

Family Style Battle will play at 4:30pm-5:30pm. Parents and kiddos (smaller kids and teens welcomed!) join in play together in this fun battle! Please note that an adult must be registered to play with the children who are registered in this battle. 

Come ready to play! Bring your own nerf gun and eye protection (universal nerf bullets provided (dart style). There will be a water zone to cool off so bring a water gun and towel as well! Waterslide/Bounce House Jump Play Wristbands are also available for $5. Food trucks and other vendors will be on site with items for purchase. We will have raffle tickets for sale as well and many great prizes! Caregivers don't forget to bring your folding chair to watch the games!
